We had a nice relaxing time, though a bit far away from London city.
Conveniently close to Heathrow with the shuttle bus. Possibility to have a meal late at night (on our arrival).
Excellent room, quiet and comfortable.
The location is six miles from Heathrow and the only public transit costs £4.50 each way to get to the nearest underground stop. Food can only be bought at exorbitant prices and you feel trapped into paying what they want: The hotel is fine for one night between flights but very inconvenient and expensive for anything else.
The bed were great and clean room. Nice linens and good pillows.
There was no information given by staff for usual things like: 1. parking and the fee. 2. where the room was located. 3. wi fi was an extra fee and the business center was only open during business hours, not at night or on weekends, which meant that I couldnt print my boarding pass. They needed much better basic information.
Nice pool and fitness suite, rooms very clean, good parking , excellent location for heathrow and london.
The room was of a high standard, with an additional bed brought to the room within 10 minutes of our arrival (we were a family group of 5). The staff and the customer service and experience were the best I have ever witnessed in the UK.Nice touch when booking out was the children were all given an activity pack for the journey home.
Second stay with this hotel. So convenient to Heathrow, as well as access into London. Convenience of two double beds which seem to be hard to find in England.
Found out this trip you could eat more reasonaby in the pub. This too should be advertised. I asked about eatng at the desk, and it wasn't even mentioned. After the limited menu and prices last year, we were going to eat elsewhere when we ask in the pub if you could get food nd were told we could. Staff should be encouraged to let clients know about the pub fare, not everyone wants to eat in full dining
Good room, location close to LHR
Slow food service
I have a separate review I will bring you when we return this weekend. I totally enjoyed everything at the Crown Plaza - for as large as it is I felt as though we are part of the Crown Family - thanks to the Manager and his staff!!!
Comfortable beds, fantastic facilities, helpful staff.
Being charged £12 to park even though your a guest.
Very cosmopolitan, service the minute you arrived at the door. All in all a very good hotel ideally situated to commute to London.
Train station is more than 40mins walk from Hotel. Would have taken a taxi or bus to reduce the walking around London.
we were allowed access to our room early, room breakfast very good
the shuttle service to the airport was not regular enough left waiting at heathrow for 40 minutes
Friendliness and helpfulness of all staff. Location for legoland and London.Children eat for free with parents kept us in the hotel to eat.
Carpets are getting old and dreary!
Spacious rooms, very nice fitness/pool area, excellent breakfast.
Staff was very helpful except at check-in. The person that checked us in was very rude. I am thinking she was perhaps having a bad day. However, after a long day of travel, I would have prefered a smiling face when we finally arrived at our destination.
Within good driving distance (approx 25 mins) to legoland and chessington. The only hotel in the area that would accomodate 2 adults and 3 children in 1 room. Very good rates.
The cost of parking was £12 a day. Breakfast was not included in the rate and was very expensive in the hotel. Due to location you would need to drive to find somewhere else to eat, which we did as the restaurant didn't look like a restaurant that you would take 3 children to.
